Bet Shemesh caves

I really enjoyed my visit to the cave near Bet Shemesh (about a 36km bus ride from Jerusalem). Such an anomaly, in the the middle of the very dry and hot desert you enter a cave that has about 99% humidity and a constant temperature of 22°C. The stalactites and stalagmites and other mineral formations are marvelous to look at.

Israel Food - Jerusalem

A great source of Middle Eastern spices in Sea of Herbs, located in old Jerusalem. From Chopsticktravel video. They ship their spices all over the world.

Israel Food - Tel Aviv

There is a good food tour company called Delicious Israel in Tel Aviv. (From Luke Martin of Chopstick Travel. See their many Youtube videos on food travel throughout the world.)

Palestine

From a Chopsticktravel video I discovered a small company that provides tours of the West Bank, called Peace by Piece Tours.  They provide a variety of tours: one day, culinary, olive harvest, pilgrimage, hiking and custom. They are located in Beit Sahour, a small town just east of Bethlehem.
